Inner Circle Sports - a global advising, financing and investing operation based in New York - are one of a number of companies holding talks with Liverpool FC chairman Martin Broughton in relation to the planned sale of the club.
ICS are not interested in buying the club themselves but they are working with Broughton in the hope of introducing new owners to the Liverpool FC board.
Ironically they are responsible for introducing George Gillett and Tom Hicks to former Liverpool FC owner David Moores, which may send a shiver down your spine.
It is reported this weekend that there are plenty of groups interested in buying the club - we believe such claims, especially in relation to the UAE and the Middle East, based on a steady trickle of information that we continue to receive.
